In addition to the regular feature and product patches typically released, there were a few updates of note last month that may be applicable to your site including:

WordPress 6.8.2 was released in mid-July and installed on your site shortly after. This minor update included fixes for 20 Core tickets and 15 Block Editor issues. For a full list of bug fixes, please refer to the release candidate announcement. WordPress 6.8.2 is a short-cycle maintenance release. There were no major security issues patched with this release.

Security-related Patches in July: Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) 6.4.3, Gravity Forms 2.9.14, Strong Testimonials 3.2.13, and Defender Pro 5.4.0

Other updates of note in July include Gravity Forms 2.9.13-2.9.14, Akismet 5.5, Yoast 25.5, JetPack 14.8, Events Calendar 6.14.1, the caching plugin Hummingbird Pro is now at 3.15, the SEO tool, SmartCrawl was updated to 3.14.1. Also released were Envira Gallery 1.11.1, Spellbook 3.0.10, Font Awesome 5.1.0, Soliloquy 2.7.1.

For sites that use it, WooCommerce 10.0 was released followed by 10.0.1 – 10.0.4. WooCommerce 10 brings with it Frontend Accessibility Improvements, Shareable Checkout URLs, Coupon Improvements, and the CSV Product importer now supports rich content. A number of WooCommerce-related supporting plugins were updated to support this new release.

Other Updates: As previously reported, the migration away from Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro is proceeding nicely. Since the last report, I’ve successfully migrated multiple client sites to a replacement that provides an equivalent set of features that are important to our clients at a fraction of the cost. Though this migration doesn’t affect all sites with a Care Plan, moving away from Events Calendar Pro helps maintain lower Care Plan pricing across the board for all our clients. Important Note: Clients who prefer the Events Calendar, have no need for the Events Calendar Pro features, or who opt to purchase an Events Calendar Pro license on their own will continue to use Events Calendar and will not be migrated.

Please note that this does not include all updates made to your site, nor does it detail every release of any one particular plugin. As always, if you have any questions or would like more specific details about any of the updates applied to your site specifically, please don’t hesitate to let me know!
