In addition to the regular feature and product patches typically released, there were a few updates of note last month that may be applicable to your site including:
Security-related Patches in November:
- Elementor, a framework in use on client sites developed by third parties, was updated to patch a number of vulnerabilities in floating elements, repeater widgets, and star rating widgets.
- Gravity Forms 2.9.22 & 2.9.23 were released and included added security enhancements.
- Wordfence premium firewall used to protect your sites received two feature & improvement updates: 8.1.1 & 8.1.2
- And a companion firewall, Defender Pro, also used to protect your sites received two feature & improvement updates in November: 5.7.0 & 5.7.1
Other security patches of note that may affect our Care Plan subscribers included List Category Posts, hCaptcha for WP, Tickera, Divi Supreme Pro, and Responsive LightboxGallery.
All vulnerable plugins, including some listed in the overview below, are generally patched via your Care Plan within 24-48 hours of an update becoming available depending upon the severity of the patch.
Other updates to note in November included:
Secure Custom Fields 6.6.0+, Yoast 26.3 & 26.4, PostSMTP 3.6.2, and the behind-the-scenes plugins used to optimize the operation of your site including: Smart Crawl Pro 3.14.5 (SEO support)
For sites that use it, WooCommerce 10.3.5 as well as several supporting plugins for WooCommerce were released to patch up a few bugs in the ecommerce package.

Ongoing Issues, Updates & Improvements:
Divi 5: Elegant Themes has officially released their public beta(s) of Divi 5 and third party plugin support continues to roll out. I continue to test this major release for the framework driving (most of) your sites and I’ll be keeping an eye on the development as things progress in the months to come.
