1) WordPress Security Updates with version 7.0.2: On July 17, 2026, the WordPress Security Team released updates to WordPress core addressing two security vulnerabilities. The first is an unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability identified as CVE-2026-60137, while the second can be chained with the SQL injection to increase its impact to unauthenticated remote code execution and is identified as CVE-2026-63030.
All ESC! Technologies Group Care Plan clients were updated within the first 24 hours of the release of this patch. For more information about the updates made in both the 7.0.1 and 7.0.2 releases of WordPress you can read the release notes here:

2) A significant number of updates were released for WooCommerce and for WooCommerce-related plugins throughout the month of July to prepare for the release of WooCommerce 11.0 in August.
3) Ongoing Divi 5 Update Information: Though new client sites are being configured with Divi 5, existing client sites will remain on Divi 4 for now as I begin migrating to the final release on selected sites to determine if any compatibility issues arise. I am finding the interface changes are significant enough and enough compatibility issues remain that I’m “playing it safe” and slowing down the roll-out for now. Stay tuned for more updates!

- Another month of Elementor security patches? Of course! Hey, it’s how they roll I guess.
- Gravity Forms included security hardening patches in 3.0.0
- Routine feature and Usability updates were made with the release of Defender Pro 6.0.0-6.1.0
- Other security patches were applied to Simple CAPTCHA Alternative for Cloudflare and NextGen Gallery.
All security patches and affected plugins, including some listed in the overview below, are generally installed via your Care Plan within 12-48 hours of an update becoming available depending upon the severity of the patch.
